For IT directors who own the budget
Where the savings come from
Consolidation rarely saves money by itself. The savings come from knowing what drives the cost and retiring one contract when it ends.
What drives the running cost
Many vendors offer one place to manage everything. The CFO also asks what it costs to run.
The answer depends on what the license counts, how many agents the team patches and what leaving costs.
Licensing based on
data volume
ARRTECH SIEM is licensed on daily data volume or events per second, so the cost follows a figure the team can measure.
Sources and agents are unlimited, and logs stay on the organization’s own servers.
Replacing one tool at renewal
A migration can start with a tool due for renewal, with other products joining the same console when the team is ready.
No contract has to end early.
Questions that set the budget
Does each new source change the license?
No. Sources are unlimited. If ARRTECH does not read a log source yet, we add a parser at no charge during the contract.
How many consoles will my team log into?
One. ARRTECH SIEM, DLP and SOAR share one web console, with Active Directory or LDAP sign-in.
How many agents will we patch?
A management agent goes on first. It installs, updates and configures the product agents and restarts any that stop. DLP agents can also install through SCCM.
How much storage will we need next year?
Storage planning uses the organization’s log volume, retention needs and measured compression. ARRTECH SIEM supports retention by source and can scale across servers.
What does it cost to leave?
Any ARRTECH SIEM source exports with its signatures and a standalone verifier, and every product has a REST API.
Who approves what the tools do?
The team. ARRTECH SOAR pauses a playbook at each step the team marks for approval, and the history shows who chose what, and when.
